Editors Nova Scotia AGM 2019

Meet and mingle with your fellow editors. Editors Nova Scotia invites all those interested—members, lapsed members and non-members alike—to attend this annual general meeting. We’ll be discussing the events of the past year and what’s coming up, and soliciting your ideas, comments and suggestions. And we’ll be drawing for a door prize: a free Editors Canada recorded webinar. Those who can’t make it in-person are invited to join us virtually. (Yes, we have the power!) After the meeting we’ll head over to the Wooden Monkey for refreshments. Please RSVP to novascotia.twig@editors.ca

As thanks, these volunteers were invited to attend the Atlantic Book Awards gala held on May 10, 2018.

Editors Nova Scotia Annual General Meeting and Post-AGM Spring Social

Saturday, April 28, 2018, 4–6 p.m., with dinner to follow

The Monaghan*

6140 Young Street, Halifax

Come on out and we’ll reflect on the accomplishments of the past year, look forward to next year, and elect the new co-coordinators. We will address any concerns, hear your suggestions on what you’d like to see from Editors Nova Scotia, talk about upcoming events, and then go for dinner nearby.

Back by popular demand: Door prize draw for those who attend!

Even if you don’t live in Halifax, you can still attend the AGM using the wonders of technology. If you would like to join us online, contact us and we’ll give you all the details!

After the AGM, we will head over to Heartwood Hydrostone at 3061 Gottingen Street. Editors Nova Scotia will provide nibblies, but you’re on your own for drinks and dinner.

Please RSVP to novascotia.twig@editors.ca by Wednesday, April 25, 2018 (so we can print the documents and make a dinner reservation, or set you up with Zoom).

* The Monaghan is a high-rise apartment building. We’ll be gathering in the meeting room on the fifth floor. There is parking available in the lot in front of the building and on nearby Monaghan Street.
